Description
Yams Flour – Also known as Elubo or Amàlà from the South Western part of Nigeria. It is are peeled, sliced, cleaned, dried and then blended into a flour.. Yams are white in colour but turn brown when dried; this give its colour. Yam flour has low glycemic index i.e. it won’t cause rapid rise in blood glucose level of diabetes patients; best enjoyed with ewedu soup and stew.
